The Eco Warriors and Natural Explorers go Litter Picking

In June and July the Comet Eco Warriors and Natural Explorers have been taking care of our world by going litter picking!
A group of children went around the school and cleared the rubbish.
Two groups of children went to clear the rubbish around the canal.
With support the children removed rubbish from the canal.
The children were fascinated to see what they found in the canal.
The Canal Trust gave the children stickers to say well done for helping look after the canal! We discussed our Right to a safe world.
When we got back we talked about where the rubbish should have gone instead of the floor and what we could do to stop it happening again.
