Comet Nursery School & Children's Centre Fees

Funded Places

Children eligible for funded childcare will be offered a term-time funded place from 9.00am to 3.00pm, in line with government funding entitlements.

Additional hours, holiday sessions and wraparound care can be purchased at the rates shown below. Our nursery and baby room provision are open 8.00am-5.45pm during term time and 8.00am-4.00pm during school holidays. Please refer to the term dates.

Payment of Fees

·         We are a cashless school and do not accept cash payments.

·         Payments can be made through your MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) account, by card at the school office, or via your Tax-Free Childcare, where eligible.

·         We encourage parents/carers to use their Tax-Free Childcare account, as eligible families can receive up to £2 for every £8 paid into their account, subject to HMRC rules.

Absence

·         Nursery and baby room fees remain payable during periods of absence, including sickness and family holidays, to retain your child's place.

·         Charges for Breakfast Club, Early Tea Club and Late Tea Club are not applied when a child is absent.

Meals and Consumables

·         Meals and snacks are included at no additional cost.

·         Parents/carers provide nappies and wipes.

·         Parents/carers provide formula milk, expressed breast milk and any specialist dietary products required.
