Comet Nursery School and Children’s Centre would like to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and caring Nursery Education Officer. Comet is an outstanding and inclusive Nursery School within a diverse and vibrant community. We are well resourced and forward thinking in our approach to nursery education.   In the first instance this post is in our 2 year old provision, however the role is across the whole nursery (2-4 year olds).

 We are looking for someone who has energy, commitment and a sense of humour and also:

  •          Experience of working with children under 5
  •          A good understanding of the importance of the learning environment both inside and                   outdoors
  •          A caring attitude to young children
  •          A commitment to children and families
  •          Good skills in literacy, ICT and numeracy
  •          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  •          An ability to be flexible in the post
