Due to our current Deputy Headteacher moving out of London, Comet Nursery School and Children’s Centre is now looking to appoint a dynamic, creative and innovative Deputy Headteacher to join our outstanding team. We are a busy, vibrant and diverse school and children’s centre in the heart of Hoxton. We are an inclusive setting and our learning environment is well resourced. We value the principals of early education and developing children’s learning through open ended meaningful play.

We are looking for an outstanding Deputy Headteacher who:

  • Is committed to the principals of early education
  • Is passionate about the outcomes for our children and their families
  • Has a deep knowledge and understanding of inclusive provision and supporting children with additional needs
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can lead, model and develop high quality teaching and learning throughout the school and centre
  • Can motivate, enthuse and inspire staff and children
  • Has a commitment to the inclusive ethos and our values at Comet
